1. I was born with gypsy blood in my veins. It took me a while to fully accept + embrace this part of my nature, but when I finally did, life became a whole lot sweeter. I then added the sophisticated wiles of the jet-set to my bohemian lifestyle. Et voila! Gypset is my life.
2. My mother is Austrian + my father is Italian. They started it all. I have lived in Austria, Italy, Spain, Australia, the United States + England.
3. I have travelled through Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Holland, France, Morocco, Germany, India, UAE, Thailand, Laos, Japan, Bali, Fiji, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Switzerland… I’m sure I’m forgetting some. Many of these places I return to, time + time again.
4. I enjoy a glass of wine every now + then. But don’t be surprised if I don’t drink at your soirée. It’s just not my thing.
5. I am really good at dreaming big dreams + believing in them. + being stubborn.
6. My top 3 idols are: Russel Brand for his intelligence, wit, charming British accent + the ability to rise above his life situation + create miracles; Nicole Richie for her American candidness + her ability to make the best from any given situation – she always plays her cards well!; Kris Carr for her sweetness, her gentle energy + enthusiasm to bring good into the world.
7. I dislike (read: I have no time for them) ball games. My favorite sports are dancing, yoga + walking.
8. I’m really good at detecting BS. + taking you straight to your truth.
9. I’ve had two “real” jobs. One was as an event organizer for a ballet company in London. The other as a business manager for a marketing consulting company in Sydney. (I wanted to learn how to run a successful business + do marketing.) Mostly I have been a freelance producer for music festivals + a lifestyle coach + writer.
10. When I was little, I wanted to be a mermaid when I grew up. I practiced every day. + then at 12, I wanted to be a backup dancer for music videos. I still want to do that.
