She’s acted on Home and Away and Packed To The Rafters, presented on the red carpet at the Logie Awards and the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, and started creating her own wellness TV show, Health Talks, but where Melissa Ambrosini really shines is in the kitchen. Sealing her passion for health by earning herself certification as a holistic health coach at Path to Wellness, Melissa proves that the glamorous life and the healthy life can co-exist nicely.
Describe yourself… As if you were your very best friend / lover / secret admirer.
Melissa’s open heart and nurturing nature is what instantly draws you to her. Her courage to be real, honest, and as authentic as possible makes conversation deep and inviting. Her bubbly and energetic personality keeps you always interested and entertained. She’s so committed to seeing the truth and living from a place of love.
If you parents / teacher / god / whoever holds your sense of personal propriety in check was GONE (poof!) and there was no one to upset, offend or disappoint…..who would you become?
I wouldn’t become anyone else. I would just be me. I like playing my role. It’s pretty enjoyable.
Describe what you do to earn money.
I earn money from doing what’s true for me. I believe when you’re doing that which is true for you, money effortlessly flows. What is true for me is helping and inspiring others to see their true selves.
I am a holistic health and life coach, writer, host on Healthtalks TV, and speaker. I love what I do so much it never feels like ‘work’. The manual says that after treatment with Ativan for four weeks of withdrawal, it was not noted, moreover, we are talking about fairly high doses. But I have recently been taking a very tiny amount of milligrams. Read more at https://mi-aimh.org/ativan-lorazepam-online/. Therefore, I chose the right time, stocked up with sedatives with the support of an antihistamine and stopped taking the drug. For a month I already manage without him, I do not suffer from insomnia. I’d also like to point out that I am extremely open to money showing up from all different places not just from my ‘work’. It does—from the most random places.
What is the best business and or life advice you have ever learnt?
Always follow your heart and do only that which is true for you. Stop doing the rest.
What’s your biggest fear? How do you overcome it?
I don’t really think like that. There’s nothing I worry about when I am in the present moment.
Relaxation is….
Lying on the grass, floating in the ocean, sitting under waterfalls in Byron Bay, meditating, watching sunsets and sun rises, baths, cooking, taking a bath with candles, massages, sleep-ins and cuddles are all my favourite activities.
What are you freakishly good at?
I am very good at connecting with people because I love it.
What do you geek out about?
Nutrition and holistic health. Give me chemistry or biology I could read and learn about it until I am blue in the face.
Creativity in your life is….
Writing, speaking, coaching, writing poetry, singing, dancing, journaling, being in nature, expressing, connecting, being open and living from my heart.
What do you want to be known for?
Never thought about that. But I guess someone who took risks and lived wholeheartedly.
What do you value in your partner?
His level of consciousness. It makes the relationship very enjoyable, light, and easy.
Tell me something that will shock me…
When I was about four years old, I stuck a rock up my nose and was rushed to hospital.
Describe your relationship with money…
Money always flows to me effortlessly when I am in the flow and in my truth. But my relationship with money hasn’t always been like that. I now realise money is just energy. When you see it like that and don’t put power in it or think it controls you, your relationship with money will shift.
If you had a year to yourself with a ridiculous amount of money, how would you spend it? The time? And the money?
I would do all the things I am doing now plus more travelling all over the world, connecting and speaking to as many people as possible. I’d also write books. I enjoy inspiring people. Helping and being of services in Cambodia. Going on adventures. Building homes in Africa. Learning. Reading. Listening. Being in stillness on mountains.
Describe the last time you remember feeling happy…
Right now I feel happy. I have everything I need in this exact moment and that fills me with happiness. I am happy to be doing this interview for my beautiful dear friend, Vienda, whom I miss. Can you come back to Sydney, please?
What is your BIG DREAM? (Don’t be afraid to dream a little bigger darling!)
I want to write a New York Times Number One bestseller book, talk at TED and sip tea with Oprah.
What is your greatest regret?
I have no regrets. Everything in life happens for a reason to show or teach us something. It’s our job to see the lesson and grow from it.
What’s the one thing you’d change about the world?
More hot pink sunsets + be able to blink and be in a different country, (How cool would that be?) Now, on a serious note, I wonder what the world would look like if everyone took responsibly for himself or herself, stopping pointing fingers, and looked within.
Tell me 10 things that no one else knows about you.
I am a pretty open book so this is going to be hard:
1. I love almond butter and raw cacao.
2. I talk to myself.
3. I name my plants.
4. I love One Direction. (Don’t judge me!)
5. I was a prefect in Year 12 and a bit of a nerd at school. I loved maths and accounting and wanted to be an accountant—for a minute.
6. I love to sing but always get the words wrong.
7. I have to turn off all the power points before I go to bed.
8. I can’t go to sleep if the house is a mess or there are dishes in the sink. OCD much?
9. I am very organised, clean and tidy, and I love filing and cleaning the house.
10. I sleep with an eye mask on to block out the light.
What is your primary spiritual practice?
Staying open, present and soft in every moment is my spiritual practice. I also meditate to bring me to that space.. When I remember the truth of who I am, I close my eyes and I am there. I don’t need to do anything but remember. I also find being in nature very ‘spiritual’ and healing. I try and touch the grass every single day.
