practical dreamer: a three month mentorship for women ready to build their body of work

here is what I know about you:

You are generous with everyone else’s clarity yet ruthless with your own doubt. You can see exactly what your best friend should do with her life and draw a complete blank when someone asks about yours. You have started the same idea four times in four different notebooks. You have consumed enough podcasts, courses, and carefully highlighted books to fill a small library… Still, you are here, wondering why you can’t just start.

It is not a discipline problem. It is not a time problem. It is not even a confidence problem, though it feels like one when you’re tired and overwhelmed.

You have been trying to build something significant in the margins of your life. Without structure. Without someone who can see what you can’t. Without other people doing the same terrifying, necessary thing alongside you.

That is what practical dreamer is for.

“I’ve followed Vienda for years, and this only deepened my trust. I would join anything she creates; there’s a real sense of integrity, growth, and soul in her work.”

you refuse to separate beauty from utility, vision from labour, desire from action. you inhabit both your aspirations and your reality with equal care, even when one terrifies you and the other bores you.

In this cultural moment, the stakes are higher. So many people spend their days worried that the world is changing too rapidly and will steal something essential from them: their jobs, their livelihoods, the delicate illusion that they are in control of anything at all.

It is possible. But only if you are passive.

Only if you are operating on autopilot. Only if you are waiting for someone — a boss, a system, a timeline — to tell you what your life should look like. Because the only way to remain alive, relevant, and whole is to choose your life. To choose it in all its contradiction and uncertainty, in all its mess and joy. To embrace your interiority, your curiosity, your irrational impulses, your instincts, and your mistakes, and to act anyway.

What is more expressive than to be the creator of your own life? No one can do that for you. The only way to outrun change is to be the fullest expression of yourself.

build your body of work

practical dreamer runs for twelve weeks and is limited to ten women

  • Every week you receive a new lesson — audio, video, and written — that you move through at your own pace, in your own time zone, in your own life.
  • You get eight live 1:1 calls with me personally. Two sixty-minute calls — one at the start, one at the end — and six thirty-minute calls throughout. These are where everything you’ve been working through gets met, challenged, and moved forward.
  • We meet twice in a live call as a full group. Everything lives in a shared Slack space where you can think out loud, ask questions, share what’s emerging, and be in the company of women doing the same brave, necessary thing.
  • You’ll be paired in listening partnerships. With one or two other women in the program for — one of the most quietly powerful things I’ve ever built into a container. Peer witness does something that even the best coaching cannot.
  • You receive access to the Her Way Club membership for the duration of the programme.
  • Applications are reviewed personally by me. There are ten places. This runs once — possibly twice — a year.

the next cohort begins on Monday June 1st 2026

about

practical dreamer

A three month private mentorship for ten women who are ready to begin.

Over twelve weeks you will excavate what you know, clarify what you want to build, and make something real: a body of work that is owned entirely by you and offered generously to the world.

You will leave with something to say and something to give.

what you are building is a body of work

Not a business plan. Not a brand. Not a content strategy.

A body of work is the one thing that is simultaneously yours — unreplicable, irreplaceable, entirely particular to you — and inherently for others. It only fully exists in the giving. It requires you to know who you are and to show up in the world as that person.

Nothing, not coincidentally, outside of you can generate for you.

Your experience is raw material. Your perspective is raw material. The specific way you see the world, the things you know that others don’t, the problems you can solve almost effortlessly because of who you are and what you’ve lived — all of it is raw material.

We are going to shape it into something.

Such a generous and beautifully held experience. I enjoyed every moment.

THE JOURNEY

MONTH 1

Excavate

Who are you, actually?

Before you build anything you need to know what you’re actually working with. We look at the stories that have been keeping you stuck and look at them clearly, possibly for the first time. This month is uncomfortable in the best way. You are not fixing anything. You are seeing everything.

You’ll work through your Workview and Lifeview — what you actually believe about work, about life, about what makes either of them meaningful — and discover the gap between what you say you value and how you’ve been living. That gap is the map. It shows exactly where the work begins.

MONTH 2

Clarify

What are you building, and why?

Now you have raw material. Now you start shaping it. You’ll map three possible expressions of your body of work — not fantasy futures but grounded possibilities already latent in who you are. You’ll choose a direction. Not forever. For now.

And then the resistance will arrive. Because it always does, the moment you commit to something real. We name it in advance so it doesn’t ambush you. You’ll learn to move through fear rather than wait for it to pass. You’ll learn to act from the place you’re actually at, not the place you wish you were.

MONTH 3

Build

Begin your body of work.

You make something real.

You find your voice: not develop it, find it, because it’s already there. You shape an offering for the world. You publish something under your name, in your words, saying something only you would say.

You cross the threshold from private dreamer to public creator.

The program ends with a beginning. You leave in motion. That is entirely intentional.

this is for you if

You have something that you are ready to bring to life, even if you don’t know what it is yet. You are mid-career or mid-life, and something is shifting and you can feel it even if you can’t explain it yet. You have done enough inner work to know what blocks are real and enough outer ambition to know you’re ready to move through them. You want to build something that is genuinely, irreducibly yours. You are ready to be seen, even though it terrifies you. Maybe even because it terrifies you.

this is not for you if

You are looking for someone to tell you what to build. You want a done-for-you solution. You are not yet ready to bring your thing to life and somewhere inside you, you know it. You need therapeutic support right now more than a creative container. There is no judgment in any of this. This is simply not the right place for you right now.

I am, by most definitions, the most unlikely entrepreneur.

I don’t follow trends. I don’t build rigid strategies. I believe in changing my mind repeatedly until I find the approach that feels right and I believe in knowing myself deeply enough to know how to claim my value in the world.

I have worked with women across the world — in groups, in 1:1 containers, across industries and life stages — and what I know is this: the women who come to me are not lacking talent, intelligence, or vision. They are lacking a space where their intelligence is taken seen and their vision is achievable.

That is the space I build.

I bring a Jungian lens to this work: the examined life as the foundation for everything built on top of it. I believe that entrepreneurship is spiritual because it forces you to confront yourself. I believe that the person you should always invest in most is yourself.

I believe you already have everything you need to begin.

I am here to help you see it.

your next steps

the investment

€2,000

Paid across three instalments:

  • €500 deposit to secure your place
  • €750 at the start of practical dreamer
  • €750 one month later

Prefer to pay in full? €1,500 early bird price is available until May 1st

This is not a small investment. It is not meant to be. What you are investing in is not a course. It is not twelve weeks of content. It is the beginning of a body of work you will be building for the rest of your life, held by someone who will not let you disappear into your own doubt. Invest intentionally.

how to apply

The application takes less than thirty minutes. Eleven questions. No right or wrong. Just your truth in this now moment.

I read every application personally and respond within five working days. If you are accepted, your first call with me builds directly on what you’ve written. Nothing you share will be wasted.

Many women tell me that the act of applying, of finally putting words to what has been living inside them, is itself clarifying.

I hope that’s true for you, too.

one last thing.

You have read this far. Which means something in here was true for you.

You know the difference between the things you read and almost did and the things you actually began. You know which one you’re still thinking about a year later. This will not be the last opportunity to build something of your own.

But it might be the one you stop waiting for.

a practical dreamer is someone who understands that dreaming without doing is self-indulgent and doing without dreaming is meaningless.

FAQ

I’m not yet clear on my body of work. Is this still for me?

That uncertainty is precisely why you’re here. A body of work is not something you arrive with. It’s something you discover and shape inside the container. What you need to bring is a willingness to look honestly at what you already know, what you’ve lived, and what you’ve been carrying unlaunched. The raw material is already there. That’s what we’re working with.

I don’t have a business. Does that matter?

No. Practical Dreamer is not a business program in the conventional sense. It is for women who are ready to build something of their own, Whether that becomes a business, a creative practice, a consultancy, a newsletter, or something that doesn’t have a name yet. You don’t need to know what it is before you arrive. That’s part of what the twelve weeks are for.

I already have a business. Is this still relevant?

Yes, if you’re desiring to create something new pr devolve into a new body of work. Many women come to this work not at the beginning of something but at a crossroads inside something they’ve already built. If the body of work you’re currently offering no longer feels yours fully, that is exactly the kind of clarity this program addresses.

How much time do I need each week?

Realistically, at least two to three hours. One hour for the weekly lesson and exercises. Thirty minutes for your listening partnership and thirty to sixty minutes for your call with me. More for the work itself: the thinking, the writing, the making. If two to three hours feels impossible right now, that is the first thing we’ll look at together. Creating the space is part of the work.

What if I fall behind?

The weekly content is yours to move through at your own pace. You won’t be left behind. The lessons don’t disappear and the group space doesn’t close immediately. What I will do is notice, in our 1:1 calls, if something other than logistics is keeping you from showing up. That noticing is part of what you’re paying for and I will support you in getting back on track.

How does the application process work?

You fill out an application — eleven questions, no right or wrong answers, approximately thirty minutes. I read every application personally. Within five working days I’ll let you know whether I’m inviting you to join. If I am, you’ll have 24 hours to secure your place with a €500 deposit. The remaining balance is paid in two instalments — €750 before we begin and €750 one month in.

Why is it application only?

Because the container only works if the women inside it are genuinely ready. Not perfect, not polished, not fully formed — but ready to be honest, to do the work, and to show up for themselves and each other. The application is how I make sure of that. It is also, as many applicants have told me, clarifying in itself.

What happens if I’m not accepted?

I’ll tell you honestly and, where I can, I’ll tell you why — or point you toward what might serve you better right now. Being declined is not a judgment on your potential. It is an assessment of fit and timing. The next cohort will run again. Nothing is lost.

What platform does the program run on?

Lessons are delivered weekly via email. The group space runs on Slack. Our calls take place on Zoom. Everything is simple, accessible, and designed to work across time zones.

I’m in a completely different time zone. Will that work?

Yes. The weekly content is asynchronous: you move through it whenever suits your life. Your 1:1 calls with me are scheduled individually, so we find a time that works for both of us. The two group calls will be scheduled to accommodate as many time zones as possible, and recorded if you can’t attend live.

Is there any support between calls?

Yes. The Slack group space is active throughout the twelve weeks. Your listening partnerships meet regularly. Weekly emails land in your inbox to keep you in the work between sessions. And if something urgent comes up between your scheduled calls, you can always reach me in the group space.

What is a listening partnership?

You’ll be paired with one or two other women in the program for a simple, structured practice: one person speaks for ten minutes without interruption while the other listens and reflects back only what they heard — no advice, no fixing, no redirecting. You swap. It sounds simple. It is quietly one of the most powerful things I build into any container I run. Peer witness does something that even the best mentoring cannot.

Can I pay in full?

Yes. Early bird full payment of €1,500 is available until a month before the next cohort runs. After that the full investment is €2,000, payable in three instalments as outlined above.

I have a question that isn’t answered here.

Email me directly at studio@viendamaria.com. I read and respond to everything personally.
